Before using the Creation Centre in FIFA 11, be sure to visit http://www.ea.com/uk/football/fifa/creation-centre and log in with your EA account that is linked to your Xbox Gamer tag, or PS3 ID. After you are logged in, check that your Console Persona is set to the default persona. You can always go to www.profile.ea.com and select your Gamer Tag/PSN ID as default.

After properly being set up, you can now choose from the webpage whether to create your Team or Player.

Creating a Player

Select "Create Player" to start the creation

After choosing to create a player, It will then take you to another page where you fill out the General Information for your player.

Image

This includes Name, Kit Number, Kit Name, Commentary Name, Position, etc.

At the top of this page you should see the other options you have for your created player, and a button that says "next" to move on to the other features of the player.

Image

Appearance takes care of how your player will look. Here is where you choose your Ethnicity, Face Type, Hair, Eyes, ect.

Image

Accessories is where you choose what kind of shoes, kit style, sweat band, etc. that you want your player to wear.

Attributes is where you concentrate on the players physical and mental shaping. Basically your shaping the Attacking, Defending, Skill, Power, and everything that concentrates on the playing ability of your created player.

The Traits section of this player concentrates on the behavior and personality of your player. You get to choose what kind of Goalkeeper the player will be, choose from arguing with officials all the way to how far your player will throw the ball.

Save & Publish is an important part of finishing your created player. Here is where you choose to either draft your player, which will keep him saved on the site to edit later, but not able to be downloaded to consoles. If you are done editing your player and are sure that this is the way you want him, then you can select to SAVE him.

Before you do though, make sure to select one of the bubbles asking if you want this published as private use (which means only YOU can download it to your console) or set it as public use (which will let ANYONE download it to their console).

After this is done, make sure to select the big red save button at the top right of the page.

Creating a Team

Make sure to select "Create a TEAM" to begin.

This will then take you to the General Information page for your team. Here is where you can choose the Team Name, Team City, Country, and Team colors.

Image

The Stadium section of the page allows you to create a name for your official stadium. After naming the stadium it will then allow you to choose from 29 actual stadiums that will be used to play all your Home Games.

Image

The CREST section of the page will have you choose the shape, and colors of your team's crest. The crest is a great way to represent your created team.

Image

The SQUAD page may be a little tricky to complete. This is because when you select the page it will prompt you to choose from one of your created players, create a new player, or browse for Public Players that were created by other people around the world.

They will have you choose 11 for starting, 7 Substitutes, and 7 reserve players. It will also let you choose the formation you want your players to take when on the field. This may take some time if you don't already have the 25 players created.

Image

The TEAM MANAGEMENT page has two options, ROLES, and STYLE of the team.

Image

The ROLES section of the page allows you to Assign roles to each individual player that is on the starting 11. The roles you have are Captain, Penalty, Short FK, Long FK, Left CK, and Right CK.

After saving, you can move on to the next option under TEAM MANAGEMENT, STYLE

Image

The STYLE portion of the Team Management has you set up the way your team will play on the field. This has to do with the Attacking Build up Style, Attacking Change creation, and Defending. Each one of these styles has you move a bar to choose how fast, or safe you want your speed, passing, crossing, and shooting to be. Another detailed portion of the "Team Creation".

Last but not least, show your Team Colors with the Team KIT section of the page.

Image

This portion of the page allows you to choose the colors and Stamping of your Home Kit, and Away Kit. Stamping is basically the font, and color type that will be shown on the kit themselves. It also allows you to choose the numbers and the font styles for the numbers as well.

Once you have created your team the way you wanted, you are now able to SAVE it so you can now download it to your console.
