What is cross-play?

Cross-play lets you play across platforms with friends in certain online multiplayer modes.For example, you can play with friends on XBOX Series X|S while playing on PlayStation®5, or vice versa. 
Cross-platform play is available in Madden NFL 27 on the following platforms.
  • PlayStation®5
  • Xbox Series X|S
  • PC

How do I turn on cross-play in Madden NFL 27?

Cross-play should be turned on by default when you launch Madden NFL 27 for the first time. Here’s how to check your cross-play settings:

    Go to the main menu and select the Settings tab.

    Scroll through the tabs and choose Cross-Play.

    If you want to use cross-play, make sure it’s toggled to On. You can also turn cross-play off from here.
To enable cross-play in Franchise mode, head into your league settings and enable cross-play for either your existing or new league.

How can I play with friends on other platforms in Madden NFL 27?

    Open the EA Connect menu on the bottom-right side of the main menu screen in Madden NFL 27.

    Search for your friend using their EA ID, XBOX Live gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID (PSN ID).

    Select Add friend. When they accept your friend request, you can play with them in any Madden NFL 27 mode that supports cross-play.

Does Madden NFL 27 have cross progression?
