If you're the victim of account fraud or notice unauthorized purchases on your EA Account, we can refund the charges and help improve your account security.

Purchases through Xbox, PlayStation, and mobile games run through their own billing systems and our advisors can’t help with those refunds.

Contact Xbox Support, PlayStation Support, Apple Support, or Google Play Help for help with fraudulent charges on those platforms.

Heads-up that saved billing information on your EA Account only displays the last four digits and expiration date of credit or debit cards, or email addresses for PayPal and similar payment methods.

We’ll help refund any fraudulent charges and secure your account, but rest assured that no one can take your payment information to use elsewhere.

Yes, I have an account

If you or someone you’re close to has an account with us, start by updating your account information as soon as possible. Change your passwordturn on Login Verification for an additional layer of security, and check out these tips to help make your account more secure

Have you ordered something from us recently?

  • If you pre-ordered one of our games, you may see a pre-order pre-authorization charge. These are small charges that our billing system uses to validate a payment method has available funds, and they will fall off within a few days.
  • If you see two charges for the same thing, but you only placed one order, you may have accidentally submitted your order twice. Request a refund for the double-charge using our tool.

If you haven’t bought anything from us in a while:

Someone may have gotten into your account and used your saved payment information to make the fraudulent charges.

If you find the charges are unauthorized, follow the steps below to get in touch with us.

No, I don’t have an account

Have you ever made a purchase from EA or Pogo before?

Yes - You might have an older account that you haven’t used in a while. If that’s the case, someone may have used your saved payment information to make the fraudulent charges.

No - If you’ve never bought anything from us or used your payment information in our store before, it's likely your payment information has been compromised. Contact your payment provider to talk about next steps.

If you don’t have an account with us but think someone set one up with your information, get in touch with us.
