About the Scientist career in The Sims 4

The Scientist career comes with The Sims 4 Get to Work Expansion Pack and is an active career. You can travel with your Sim to work and play an active role in their career by helping them perform their duties.

Scientist career tasks

To get a promotion in the Scientist career, your Sim needs to complete career tasks. These tasks change depending on your Sim’s rank in the career. To check what tasks your Sim needs to complete, open the Scored Career Event Panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode. For an active career, attending an active work day is one of the tasks to complete. When your Sim arrives at work, follow the Scored Career Event Panel in the top left to track which activities they need to complete.
