How to troubleshoot crashing or freezing

If your game keeps crashing or freezing, try closing background apps.If you’re still having problems, try these steps:

    Learn how to perform a clean boot of your PC to disable background tasks that might be interfering with your game.

    Reinstall your game and the EA app. If you need help, follow our installation guide.

    Repair the game files in the EA app. 
    • Go to Library and find your game. 
    • Select the Manage icon, then choose Repair.

    Try capping your frame rate. You can also enable Vertical Sync (V-Sync), to match your frame rate to your display’s refresh rate.
    • You can usually turn on V-Sync in your game’s graphics settings menu.
    • If V-Sync isn’t available as an option in your game, you can find it through your graphic card. Check your GPU manufacturer’s support options for more help.
