About the Diving skill
The Diving skill comes with The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack and is a five level skill.- Elder, Adult, Young Adult, Teen, and Child Sims can all build this skill.
- While practicing Diving, your Sim will also build Fitness skill. Child Sims will also build their Motor skill.
- Diving can affect your Sim’s moodlets, with leveling up earning them a Focused Moodlet, a good dive earning them a Confident Moodlet, and an Embarrassed Moodlet if they fail a dive.
How to build the Diving skill
There are multiple ways for your Sim to build the Diving skill. Some interactions are only unlocked when your Sim reaches a certain level.Use the diving board
The most straightforward way for your Sim to build this skill is to start diving! You’ll find both short and tall diving boards in Build Mode. Sims can select from different types of jumps or just select Practice Diving. As they increase their skill level, more jump types will become available.If you select the Practice Diving option, your Sim will continuously practice different dives without you needing to queue up multiple interactions.Diving skill levels
As your Sim builds the Diving skill, they’ll unlock new interactions along the way.This level unlocks all classic jumpstand dives: Backflip, Belly Flop, Cannonball, Jump, and Swan Dive.
This level unlocks the Lounger Jump.
This level unlocks the Front Pike Flip.
This level unlocks the Reverse Pike Dive.
This level unlocks the Front Twister Flip.
Diving skill cheats
When using skill cheats, type in the number of the level you want to reach. For example, putting stats.set_skill_level minor_diving 3 into the cheat bar will get your Sim’s Diving skill up to Level 3.PC and Mac
