How to install EA Javelin anticheat
EA Javelin anticheat requires the Windows 10 20H1 update (version number 10.0.19041) or newer.

Every EA game that uses EA Javelin anticheat will automatically install the software on your PC if you don’t have it already. You can check whether your game uses EA Javelin anticheat in the EA app.
- 1Choose your game from the EA app.
- 2Click Manage, then View Properties.
- 3Click Browse. If your game uses EA Javelin anticheat, the EA Javelin anticheat files will be visible in this folder.
How to uninstall EA Javelin anticheat
If you uninstall EA Javelin anticheat, any game that uses EA Javelin anticheat protection won’t be playable until you reinstall it.
- 1Open Windows Explorer and search for C:\Program Files\EA\AC.
- 2Click on EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe.
- If you want to uninstall EA Javelin anticheat for one game, choose the game and select Uninstall.
- If you want to uninstall EA Javelin anticheat for all EA games, choose Uninstall All. This will remove all EA Javelin anticheat files and EA Javelin anticheat protection from your computer, except for the installer.

There are two ways to fix this error:
- Select Close in the EA anticheat pop-up message and restart the game.
- Download the EA Javelin anticheat installer again, uninstall the game you’re playing via the installer, and then reinstall the game manually.
This error message will appear if you try to launch your game directly from the Windows File Explorer.You need to launch the game from the EA app. Even if you’re using Steam or the Epic Games Store, they’ll still launch from the EA app.

- Relaunch the EA app (even if you got the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store) as an admin by right-clicking on it and choosing Run As Administrator. Then, relaunch the game directly from the EA app.

EA Javelin anticheat will shut down the game and our services if you use cheat tools, debuggers, or other conflicting software. Turning off or uninstalling conflicting software can help you get back in the game.
