The game automatically recognizes what items you have, so you can never get duplicates. Instead, it’ll grant you a certain amount of Crafting Metals based on the rarity of the item.
You can’t buy crafting materials in Apex Legends with Apex Coins. The only way to get them is through opening Packs.
