Epic Projects convert a regular fully upgraded residential zone into an Epic Building. Epic Buildings hold more citizens and produce parts for Shop Speed-Up Tokens that can be used to speed up Commercial item crafting in your city. You can only work on one Epic Project at a time. After you complete that Epic Project, there’s a cooldown period before you can start another.
Once you start an Epic Project, you have limited time to complete it. When the timer runs out, the project tier you reached (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) will determine what type of building you get.
In the Epic Project window:
As you earn more Project Points you’ll reach higher project tiers:
Once time is up, select Upgrade to create your Epic Building.
If you’d like to speed up the crafting of Commercial items, you can use Shop Speed-Up Tokens.
Heads-up: You can buy Factory Speed-Up Tokens from Offers. They are not earned through Epic Buildings.
Each Shop Speed-Up Token is made of Shop Speed-Up Token Parts. There are three different types you need to collect to make up a Shop Speed-Up Token:
You will need several of each part type to make a Shop Speed-Up Token. The amount depends on which Shop Speed-Up Token you are making.
Select the Shop Speed-Up Token Parts above Epic Buildings to collect them. A counter will appear to display how many you’ve collected.
The Department of Epic Projects stores all of your Shop Speed-Up Tokens. You can select it to see how many you have available.
Once you have Shop Speed-Up Tokens, you can move the production of items along faster in Commercial buildings.
Select a Commercial building, then select the Speed-Up Token icon. The menu will show you which Tokens you have available. Drag one of them to your production queue to accelerate production.
