How do I confirm my age in Battlefield 1?

Effective March 2026, Brazil’s ECA Digital Law requires an age check for certain games. To access some content and features, players will need to:
  1. 1
Log in to or create an EA Account.
  2. 2
    Confirm they’re 18 or older.
This applies to the EA app and some console and mobile games.Access to social features and user-generated content (UGC) in-game on the EA app will be restricted to adult accounts. These requirements apply only to players in Brazil and only to affected games. Learn more in our age check article.
You can start the age confirmation process in-game. You’ll need to link an EA Account to your platform account.If prompted in-game, follow these steps:
  1. 1
    Open Battlefield 1.
  2. 2
Carefully read the age check message.
  3. 3
    Select Start.
  4. 4
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete verification.
  5. 5
Select Continue once your age is confirmed.
You’ll need to confirm your age to play online.

Parental consent doesn’t automatically confirm an account as an adult. Without a confirmed age check, restrictions may still apply. Learn more about parental consent and age check impacts on child accounts.
