What are the Battlefield 6 rules?
At EA, we prioritize positive, fun, and safe gaming for everyone. Read our Positive Play Charter to understand these rules, and read on to see how they apply to Battlefield 6.Don’t cheat in-game
We want Battlefield 6 to be fair and fun for everyone. To do that, we consider removing anyone who tries to give unfair advantages to themselves or others by cheating. This includes but isn’t limited to:- using third-party software, such as aimbots, wallhacks, and other similar cheats in order to gain an unfair advantage over other players
- using software or cheat tools that disconnect other players from EA servers
- performing in-game exploits, or abusing glitches or bugs
- stat padding (abusing game features in an unintended manner to artificially stack on scores)
- win-trading or otherwise manipulating in-game ranking systems with the collaboration of others.
- This includes unfair play like teaming up with another player in Solo or squads collaborating with other squads.
Don’t buy unauthorized Battlefield Currency
The only way to be sure you’re buying Battlefield Currency in line with the rules is to buy it in-game or through the EA app, Epic Games, PlayStation®, Microsoft stores, or other trusted retailers. Not sure? For help understanding if you can trust a retailer, check our guide. If you buy Battlefield Currency from an unauthorized third-party site, you’re at risk of having your account information stolen by phishers. Some of these sites ask for your login information so they can add the currency to your account, but once they have your account info, they have access to your account whenever they want it.This means they can hack your account, lock you out of it, and even get you banned. For more info on protecting your account from phishing, read our guide.Don’t make false claims
Making a false claim to EA Help Advisors or any other EA representative is against our rules. If you make a false claim, we might take action on your account.Don’t hack other players' accounts
Accessing another player’s account is against the rules.Don’t be a troll
Using hate speech in-game or harassing other players is against our rules. If you act offensively in-game, through in-game or your username, your account might be suspended.Check out the Battlefield Community Charter to learn more about what we expect from players.Don’t party up with cheaters
Intentionally partying up with cheaters in matches to boost your score or help complete challenges counts as cheating, even if you’re not using cheats yourself. If we detect you partying up with confirmed cheaters for multiple matches in a period of time, we might ban you from Battlefield 6. We require clear evidence of cheating to ban a player.Don’t share your credentials
Never share your credentials. Sharing your account info means your account could get stolen, and we may decline to restore it. It’s always unsafe to trust others with your account details, no matter how safe they claim to be. When you share your credentials, you run a high risk of losing all your content and having your account deleted. EA will never ask for your password. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you get an email that looks like it came from us asking for your password, it’s a scam. For help keeping your account safe, learn more about phishing.Read Section 6 of the EA User Agreement to learn more about our complete rules of conduct.
