What is your Friend List?
Your Friend List helps keep you up to date with your friends while you game. You can play multiplayer games together, share what you're playing solo, and chat about gameplay strategy.Add friends to your Friend List
Moved to the EA app from Origin? Your Origin friend list automatically transfers over once you log in to the EA app.Here’s more info on what happens to your games and accounts when you move to the EA app.
- 1Launch the EA app.
- The EA app is only available on PC and Mac. You can’t use the EA app on a phone.
- 2Select the Add friend button under your avatar.
- 3Find or import your friends for your Friend List.
- Select Find friends to search for people using their display name, EA ID, real name, or email address.
- Select Import friends to add your friends from Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation®. If your social and gaming accounts aren’t already connected to your EA Account, you can link them here.
- 4Find your friend in the list and select Add.
- They might have their profile set to private. Ask them to send you a friend request instead.
- You both need to have cross-play turned on in your game settings.
- Make sure your EA Account is linked to your console or platform accounts.
- Check your internet connection and restart the app.
- Make sure your app is updated to the latest version.
Find friends in your game
