How to upgrade to EA Play Pro on PC

What is EA Play Pro?

EA Play Pro is only available on the EA app. It’s not available on Steam or Epic. EA Play Pro isn’t available in Brazil. Not on PC? Learn about EA Play on PlayStation® and EA Play on Xbox.

EA Play Pro is our premium membership tier for EA Play on PC, available only through the EA app. If you upgrade to EA Play Pro through the EA app, you’ll get all the benefits of EA Play plus these extra perks.

Unlimited access to a library of premium edition EA games and fan-favorite series.
In-game member rewards.
Early access to select new games.

How to upgrade to EA Play Pro

You can choose between an EA Play or EA Play Pro membership when you join through the EA app. If you choose an EA Play membership when signing up but want to unlock even more benefits, you can upgrade to EA Play Pro.

Go to your EA Account and sign in using the EA Account details you used to join EA Play.

Select the Subscriptions and Memberships tab and choose EA Play.

In the Your membership section, select Manage membership.

On the new browser page that opens, choose Change Membership.

Select Switch to EA Play Pro and choose from a monthly or yearly payment plan.

Select Confirm Change.

When the payment for your EA Play Pro upgrade goes through, we’ll refund you for any time left on your previous EA Play membership. That refund will go back to your original payment method.Getting an error when trying to upgrade? Find out how to troubleshoot common EA Play Pro upgrade errors.

Want to downgrade or cancel your membership instead?

If you have an EA Play Pro membership but want to downgrade to EA Play, follow the same steps, but choose Switch to EA Play in step 5. If you downgrade from EA Play Pro to EA Play, access to games you played using a Pro membership may be affected.

Do EA Play Pro upgrades affect game progress and pre-orders?

When you upgrade from EA Play to EA Play Pro using the EA app, you won’t lose any games you’ve downloaded or installed. Your progress in these games isn’t affected, and you can pick up where you left off. Learn how to troubleshoot common EA Play issues.

EA Play Pro upgrades and pre-orders

EA Play Pro members get access to select new releases. If your game is a new release, it may not be included in your membership.However, if you pre-ordered one of our games which you’ll now have access to with your upgraded EA Play Pro membership, you can cancel your pre-order.

Go to your EA Account and sign in using the EA Account details you used to join EA Play.

Select the Payment and Wallet tab and choose Order history.

Find the game you pre-ordered and expand the order details by selecting the + plus sign.

Select Cancel pre-order.
