How to delete corrupt files

FIFA 23 uses some game files that are regularly updated and re-downloaded in the background while you play. Sometimes they’re downloaded with a minor corruption, which can cause issues with freezing, disconnections, or matchmaking. If that happens to you:
  1. 1
Make sure FIFA is loaded and logged in on your system.
  2. 2
Go to Customise > Profile > Delete to bring up the game's file list.
  3. 3
    Delete all filesexcept:
    • Online Pro files.
    • Any files with Career or Journey in the name, because these are your saves for these game modes. These won’t be re-downloaded and can’t be restored.
      • You can delete Personal Settings 1, but if you do you’ll lose skill game progress and your custom controller layout. Only delete this if you’re sure you’re okay with losing these two things.
  4. 4
Log out of FIFA 23 and load the game again.
