Don’t distribute or sell Coins
Coin selling and distribution aren’t allowed, because they disrupt safe buying and selling for legitimate players. Here are some examples of coin distribution that break our rules.- Sending HUT Coins or Items to a friend.
- Having multiple accounts and funneling Coins and Items to your main account.
Don’t buy Coins or Items from a third-party
Buying Coins or any other content from a third-party is against our rules. It also leads to an uneven playing field in HUT by inflating Auction House Item prices, making it hard for players who earned Coins legitimately. You can earn Coins by playing HUT and selling items in the Auction House, but you can’t buy them. Here are a few ways to earn Coins legitimately:- playing matches in HUT (excluding Play with Friends)
- ranking in HUT Rivals, HUT Champions, Competitive Seasons, or Squad Battles
- completing HUT Challenges, Objectives, and Milestones
- trading in the Auction House at a fair price.
Don’t promote Coin buying and selling
Promoting the sale or purchase of Coins anywhere within our games or forums breaks our rules.Don’t farm Coins
Coin farming is when you try to get Coins fast and illegitimately. For example, you’re Coin farming if you use bots in the Auction House, or trick the game into thinking you’re playing matches when you’re not. You can store as many Coins in your account as you like, as long as you’re earning those Coins legitimately in-game. Using any sort of Auction House bot or disconnection methods in-game breaks our rules.Don't use auto-buyers
If you use any kind of in-game bots, automation, or tools like auto-buyers, you’re breaking the rules. Making transactions outside of the game or playing in an unauthorized way negatively impacts the experience of other players.Don't use modified platforms or third-party apps
You can only access our servers using an official version of EA SPORTS NHL® 26, which you bought from EA or an authorized retailer. Make sure you're playing NHL 26 on an unmodified platform. This means using a console that hasn’t been altered in any way that affects how it functions. It should operate just like it did out of the box from an authorized retailer, without any software that modifies the game or how it interacts with EA services.Sharing your credentials with someone who’s using a modified platform also breaks our rules. We recommend avoiding third-party apps and browser extensions, as they can put your account at risk. When you use them, your login info might be visible to third parties who use it to take over your account. For example, certain browser extensions can capture your passwords, track your web browsing, insert ads into web pages you visit, and more.Don’t cheat
Cheating can include, but isn’t limited to, using external tools, performing in-game exploits, abusing glitches or bugs, performing, using, buying, or selling match collusion, matchmaking manipulation, or win manipulation services. Cheating, inside or outside the game, isn’t fair play and hurts the experience for all players.Don’t abuse the NHL Auction House or use bots
Using bots or abusing the Auction House in any way creates an unfair experience and negatively impacts others.Don’t make false claims
Making a false claim to EA Advisors or any other EA representative is against our rules.Don’t hack other players’ accounts
Accessing another player’s account, including account sharing, breaks the rules. Similarly, keep your account safe by not sharing access with anyone. EA will never ask for your account passwords, including, but not limited to, your EA Account, Xbox Live Gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID passwords. If someone asks for that info, it’s not us.Anyone breaking EA rules while using your account, in any EA game, may result in your account being suspended or terminated. Never give your passwords out.How to appeal an action taken on an account
