How to get help with fraud on your EA Account

If you’re the victim of account fraud or notice unauthorized purchases on your EA Account, we can refund the charges and help improve your account security.

Purchases through Xbox, PlayStation®, and mobile games run through their own billing systems. Our advisors can’t help with these refunds.Contact Xbox Support, PlayStation® Support, Apple Support, or Google Play Help for help with fraudulent charges on those platforms. 

Do you have an EA Account?

Saved billing information on your EA Account only displays the last four digits and expiration date of credit or debit cards. For PayPal and other similar payment methods, only email addresses are shown.We’ll help refund any fraudulent charges and secure your account, but rest assured that no one can take your payment information to use elsewhere.
Update your account information as soon as possible. Log in to your EA Account and change your password. Learn how to turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)for an additional layer of security, and check out these other tipsto help make your account more secure. 
Check your Order History. If you ordered something from us recently:
  • You may see a pre-order pre-authorization charge. These are small charges that our billing system uses to validate a payment method has available funds, and they'll be refunded within a few days.
  • If you see two charges for the same thing, but you only placed one order, you might have accidentally submitted your order twice. Use our tool to request a refund for the double charge.
If you haven’t bought anything from us in a while, someone may have accessed your account and used your saved payment information to make the fraudulent charges. Get in touch with us if you believe your account has been breached.
