- Elder, Adult, Young Adult, Teen, and Child Sims can all build this skill.
- Bowling will boost your Sim’s Fun Need, and can also achieve a Focused Moodlet.
How to build the Bowling skill
There are multiple ways for your Sim to build the Bowling skill. Some interactions are only unlocked when your Sim reaches a certain level. To start bowling, either buy the Ten Pin Adrenaline (§436) from Build Mode or travel to a bowling alley to play. Your Sim can choose between 3, 5, and 10 Frame Games, and can also invite other Sims to play with them. You’ll need to place a bowling alley for your Sim to travel to. You can find Maxis-created ones on the Gallery, like the Oasis Springs Dust Bowl and the Bowl More Alley, or look for ones made by other Simmers. There is no specific bowling alley Lot type; instead, these are usually categorized as a Lounge or Bar.

If you own The Sims 4 Discover University Expansion Pack, your Sim can attend skill-building classes. These are rabbit-holes, so your Sim will leave the Lot for some time and then come back when the class is over. Note: Skill Classes are only available between 9 a.m.– 9 p.m.
- 1In Live Mode, select your Sim’s phone.
- 2Open the Business app (the briefcase icon).
- 3Choose Sit in on Skill Class (§250).

If you own The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack, your Sim can learn or teach the Bowling skill using the Sharing is Caring Whiteboard. You’ll find this in Build Mode.
