Overview
The Entrepreneur skill is a five-level skill from The Sims 4 High School Years Expansion Pack that helps your Sims become successful side hustlers. Grow the skill by completing gigs, selling on Plopsy or Trendi, or selling creative work. At higher levels, they can pitch business ideas, appear on Llama’s Lair, and unlock the Knowledge Reward Trait. This guide also covers how to use skill cheats to progress faster.
About the Entrepreneur skill

- The Entrepreneur skill comes with The Sims 4 High School Years, and is a 5 level skill.
- Elder, Adult, Young Adult, and Teen Sims can all build this skill.
- The Entrepreneur skill is needed to progress in the Simfluencer and Video Game Streamer careers.
How to build the Entrepreneur skill
There are lots of ways your Sim can build the Entrepreneur skill, for example:- completing gigs in the Freelancer career
- completing Odd Jobs if you own The Sims 4 Island Living Expansion Pack
- selling Items on Plopsy
- selling outfits on Trendi
- selling paintings to either the Art Gallery or Collectors
- publishing books
- selling at a food stall if you own The Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack
- licensing songs.
If you own The Sims 4 Discover University Expansion Pack, your Sim can attend skill-building classes. These are rabbit-holes, so your Sim will leave the Lot for some time and then come back when the class is over. Note: Skill Classes are only available between 9 a.m.– 9 p.m.
- 1In Live Mode, select your Sim’s phone.
- 2Open the Business app (the briefcase icon).
- 3Choose Sit in on Skill Class (§250).
- 4In the pop-up menu, choose Entrepreneur. Your Sim will leave the Lot and gain the Entrepreneur skill while at the class.
If you own The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack, your Sim can learn or teach the Entrepreneur skill using the Sharing is Caring Whiteboard. You’ll find this in Build Mode.
Entrepreneur skill levels
As your Sim builds the Entrepreneur skill, they’ll unlock new rewards, abilities, and interactions along the way. A green progress bar will appear above your Sim’s head and gradually fill up as they’re building a skill. You can also check their progress by:- 1Entering Live Mode.
- 2Selecting the Sim Panel (bottom left).
- 3Select the Skills tab.
Nothing unlocks at this level.
At this level, your Sim can promote a side hustle by Advertising Online.
At this level, your Sim can Research Business Plan.
At this level, your Sim can Contact Angel Investors for Funding.
At this level, your Sim:
- can appear on Llama’s Lair
- earns the Knowledge Reward Trait.
Entrepreneur skill cheats
When using skill cheats, type in the number of the level you want to reach. For example, putting stats.set_skill_level minor_entrepreneur 3 into the cheat bar will get your Sim’s Entrepreneur skill up to level 3.PC and Mac
