About the Romance Consultant career in The Sims 4

The Romance Consultant career comes with The Sims 4 Lovestruck Expansion Pack and has two career branches:
  • Relationship Counselor 
  • Matchmaker.

Romance Consultant career tasks

To get a promotion in the Romance Consultant career, your Sim needs to complete career tasks. These tasks change depending on your Sim’s rank in the Romance Consultant career. To check what tasks your Sim needs to complete, open the Career Panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode. 

How to Run Emergency Romance Hotline

Using the computer, select Career > Run Emergency Romance Hotline. 

How to Study Modern Love

Using the computer, select Career > Study Modern Love. 

How to Research Date Locations

Using the computer, select More Choices > Web > Research Date Locations.

Romance Consultant career promotion cheats

Using this cheat promotes your Sim by one rank in the Romance Consultant career. You can use it multiple times to reach the top of the career path.

    Press Control + Shift + C to open the cheat dialogue box.

    Type testingcheats true and press Enter to turn on cheats. 
  3. 3
    Type careers.promote romanceconsultant into the cheat dialogue box and press Enter.
