About the Business career in The Sims 4

The Business career comes with The Sims 4 Base Game and has two career branches:
  • Management
  • Investor. 
To join this career, select Find a Job from the phone or computer and choose Business.A Sim wearing a black suit with a blue tie, stands in a fancy office in front of an easel displaying a pie chart.

Business career tasks

Want that next promotion? Have your Sim complete their career tasks to level up in the Business career. These tasks change depending on which rank of the career your Sim is at. To check your Sim’s daily tasks, open the Career panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode.

How to Fill out Reports

Use the computer and select More Choices > Web > Fill out Reports. 

How to Make Business Calls

    Open the phone in the bottom left of the screen when in Live Mode.

    Choose Business (the yellow briefcase icon).

    Select Make Business Calls. 

How to Research Stocks

Use the computer and select More Choices > Web > Research Stocks.

When your Sim is promoted to rank 7, you’ll choose between the Management or Investor career path.

Business career promotion cheats

Use this cheat to promote your Sim one rank at a time—all the way to CEO or Angel Investor.

    Press Control + Shift + C to open the cheat dialogue box.

    Type testingcheats true and press Enter to turn on cheats.

    Type careers.promote business into the cheat dialogue box and press Enter.
