Is your child ready to upgrade to a teen EA Account? Learn when and how to age up their account and what that means for their settings.
When can a child upgrade to a teen account?
If you created an EA Account for someone under the minimum age in their country or region, it’s a child account. Once they reach the minimum age, they’ll get a pop-up notification every time they log in to the EA app to let them know it's time to age up. When you upgrade your child’s account to a teen account, they can add their own email address and enable two-factor authentication. Here’s the full list of countries and the minimum age required to upgrade a child account to a teen account.- Australia: 13
