About the Reaper career in The Sims 4

The Reaper career comes with The Sims 4 Life & Death Expansion Pack and is an active career. You can travel with your Sim to work and play an active role in their career by helping them perform their duties.Lights swirl in front of a Sim’s outstretched hand as they release a soul through the archway of the Netherworld Portal.

Reaper career tasks

To get a promotion in the Reaper career, your Sim needs to complete career tasks. These tasks change depending on your Sim’s rank in the career. To check what tasks your Sim needs to complete, open the Scored Career Event Panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode. For an active career, attending an active work day is one of the tasks to complete. When your Sim arrives at work, follow the Scored Career Event in the top left to track which activities they need to complete. 

How to Write a Reaping Manual

Using the computer, select Write > Write Genre Book > Reapers Creepers: Training Manual Installment.

Reaper career promotion cheats

Using this cheat promotes your Sim by one rank in the Reaper career. You can use it multiple times to reach the top of the career path.

    Press Control + Shift + C to open the cheat dialogue box.

    Type testingcheats true and press Enter to turn on cheats.

    Type careers.promote active_reaper into the cheat dialogue box and press Enter.
