The Sims 4 Careers: Critic

About the Critic career in The Sims 4

The Critic career comes with The Sims 4 City Living Expansion Pack and has two career branches:

Arts Critic
Food Critic.

To join this career, select Find a Job from the phone or computer and choose Critic.

Critic career tasks

Want your Sim to rise to food or art fame? Help them complete their daily tasks to unlock career promotions. These tasks change based on your Sim’s career rank. To check what tasks your Sim needs to complete, open the Career Panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode.

How to Practice Writing

Using the computer, select Write > Practice Writing.

How to Review a Performance

When a Sim is performing (this can be singing, playing an instrument, or telling jokes), select them and choose Review Performance.

How to Write a Column

Using the computer, select Write > Write Column.

How to Review Food or Drink

After your Sim orders food or drink, select it and choose Review Food or Drink.

Critic career promotion cheats

Using this cheat promotes your Sim by one rank in the Critic career. You can use it multiple times to reach the top of the career path.
