What’s Dynasty Mode?

Dynasty Mode lets you create your own coaching staff to recruit the best players and watch your team thrive.Choose between playing as Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, or Defensive Coordinator. No matter what coach contract you sign, you'll make decisions for the entire team. Throughout the season, you’ll earn XP for tasks you do on and off the field to advance your career and reputation.

Dynasty Mode online requirements

For quick load times and the best experience playing Dynasty Mode online, your Internet speed should be at least 2 Mbps for downloads and 0.5 Mbps for uploads.Running a speed test will give you an overview of how fast and stable your connection is. You can run a Google speed test here.*If your Internet connection is fast and you’re still having trouble loading Dynasty Mode, check out our online troubleshooting tips.*These are websites owned by a third party. EA is not responsible for content on third-party sites, and our privacy policy does not apply to their information collection practices.

How to play Dynasty mode

You can find Dynasty Mode in the Game Modes tab of the main menu. If it’s your first time playing Dynasty Mode, you can create a new Dynasty from scratch or join someone else’s by invite. Up to 32 users can participate in a Dynasty offline or online.

On the Dynasty Setup page, you can update any Coach settings you’d like, finish creating your team, and sign your contract.

What’s the difference between Dynasty Mode online and offline?

You’ll be able to play with cross-play when you play Dynasty Mode online.If you play Dynasty Mode offline, you can’t:
  • invite other players to your Dynasty
  • access your online data
  • use cross-play.
