How are SWTOR and EA accounts linked?

A SW:TOR account is always linked to an EA Account. The accounts might be linked in two ways, depending on when the SW:TOR account was created. 

If you created your SW:TOR account before June 25, 2019

Previously, we automatically created and linked an EA Account using the same email address as your SW:TOR account. Now, you can use different email addresses and passwords for each account and manage them separately. For example, changing your SW:TOR account email address or password doesn’t change that information on your EA Account like it used to.

If you created your SW:TOR account on or after June 25, 2019

Your SW:TOR account and linked EA Account are completely separate. They don’t share an email address. Even if you used the same email for both, they’re still independent.

How to look up your connected EA Account

    Log into your SW:TOR account on swtor.com.

    Select View Your Payment History.

    You’ll see the email of your connected EA Account at the top right of the page.
