Troubleshoot DirectX

Check if Windows is up-to-date

Check to see if there are any updates waiting to be installed. Updating your software may fix your issue.Learn more about updating Windows.

Install DirectX® End-User Runtime 

The DirectX End-User Runtime Installer will install any missing libraries you need to use the EA app.

    Close the EA app on your computer.

    Visit the Microsoft page for the DirectX End-User Runtime installer.

    Select your language and click the Download button.
  4. 4
    Follow the installer’s instructions.
  5. 5
    Relaunch the EA app.
You should now be able to use the EA app.
