How to add a secondary payment method if using EA Wallet
If EA Wallet is your main payment method for EA Play on PC, we suggest adding a backup payment option. That way, if there isn’t enough balance in your EA Wallet on your next billing date, we’ll charge your secondary option for your EA Play membership.
To keep your membership active, make sure your secondary payment method has enough funds to cover your membership renewal.
You’ll need to add at least one other payment method (besides EA Wallet) before you can set a secondary payment option for EA Play. Here’s how to do that:
- Sign in to your EA Account using the EA Account details you used to join EA Play.
- Select the Payment and Wallet tab.
- Select Payment methods > Add payment method.
To set a secondary payment method for your EA Play on PC membership:
- Select the Subscriptions and Memberships tab in your EA Account and choose EA Play.
- Go to Billing information > Payment method and select the right arrow icon (>).
- If EA Wallet is your default payment method, it’ll be toggled to Active. Choose another payment method and select Set as secondary.
- Select Save.
