Amped, the 27th Season of Apex Legends, launches on November 4, 2025. Read the patch notes for the latest info.The Olympus map in Apex Legends.

Olympus map updates

Olympus has been updated with four new Points of Interest to loot and explore:.
  • Somers University
  • Gravity Engine
  • Stabilizer
  • Dockyard
You’ll also discover new areas on the map that improve rotations, reduce congestion, and create better spaces for combat.

Horizon, Rampart, and Valkyrie buffs

Horizon, Rampart, and Valkyrie have new upgrades to play with and tweaks to their Legend abilities.
Horizon
  • Horizon’s Gravity Lift has a shorter delay before cooldown, lift speed improvements, and more health for her ultimate.
  • Upgrades give you more opportunities for aerial movement—fall faster by crouching mid-air or glide out of gravity lifts for more control.
Rampart
  • Rampart’s passive is now called Battle Modder. Amped walls now get more health with each EVO level.
  • Amped Cover charges when taking damage. Jumping over walls converts the charge to a speed boost, and her shield now has a roof.
Valkyrie
  • Valkyrie’s jetpack is faster. It consumes fuel faster, but recharges quicker.
  • Valkyrie won’t take damage if caught in the blast radius of her Missile Swarm tactical.
  • Her ultimate, Skyward Dive, has a reduced cooldown, reduced takeoff delay, faster launch, and increased launch height.

Mantle Boost

We’ve improved the mantle boost mechanic, making it easier for everybody to use. With mantle boost, you can use ledges to jump faster and evade enemies more easily.

Alternator locked hop-up

The Alternator assault rifle has a new hop-up in Battle Royale modes like Ranked. With the new Double Tap hop-up, you can shoot both barrels at once, doubling your firepower. To unlock it, deal damage and upgrade your guns in-match. Check out our Apex Legends guns and weapons guide to learn more about choosing and customizing your loadout.

Trident updates

Tridents now have their own health and can be destroyed by other squads. Their collision, boost, and vehicle handling mechanics have also been improved.
  • Players inside tridents can be hit with precise shots.
  • Hits to players damage only the player, and hits to the vehicle damage only the vehicle.
  • Boost can be used in increments, rather than all at once.
