How to join a League

Select the Leagues menu and search for Leagues with open spaces. Filter your search to match your preferences.

Select View under each League to preview members and read the League description.

Select Join to enter an open League.

Select Apply to join a closed League, The League admin will review your request and you’ll get a message if you’ve been accepted.

Consider your overall rating (OVR) before applying for a League, and try to join a League with an average OVR that matches your own.

Leagues with low OVRs will be less competitive for League Tournaments.
Leagues with higher OVRs could be too selective and hard to enter.

All players play in one global region, so you can join Leagues and play friendly matches with anyone around the world. There’s one global leaderboard for:

Head to Head
VS Attack
Manager Mode.

How to create a League

It costs 5,000 FC Coins to create a League.

Select Create League. To create your own League, you have to leave the League you’re in.

Select League Settings (cogwheel) in the top-right corner of your League tile.

Set up your League, including the requirements that members need to apply to your League.

You can customize your League in League Settings.

League chat

You can chat with other League members in real time. Select Text Box to start typing.You can also mute League members by selecting their messages and choosing Mute. To unmute a member, go to your League settings and select the gear.

If a League member becomes abusive, select the offensive message inside the Chat Window and choose Report.You can also report offensive League descriptions by selecting the Report button on the back of the League tile.

Leaderboard

The League Leaderboard lets you see the top 250 ranked Leagues. You can sort the Leaderboard by:

team OVR.

How do League Tournaments work?

League Tournaments are Tournaments between two Leagues that have anywhere from 4v4 to 32v32 member matchups and last 24 hours. Select the Tournaments menu to access League Tournaments.

Create a Tournament

Only Admins and the Owner can start a Tournament.

You'll see the Tournament search screen after you select the Tournaments menu.

Select Find Opponent to set your team and choose which League members will play in the Tournament. You need to select at least four players from your League to take part.

Start your search for an opposing League.

Choose Starters

You need to have an even number of players to start a Tournament.

To remove a member from the Tournament, select Reverse.
To make a member active in the Tournament, select Active.
Select Find Opponent to start your search for another League.

Play your turns

League Tournaments last for 24 hours. League members should each play all three of their turns during that time.You can challenge any opponent if they have a Play icon next to them. Each opponent can only be played against three times.Your League score is determined by how many goals your members score on their turns. The League with the most goals wins.

Earn Rewards

When you complete a turn, you’ll earn Coins. At the end of the Tournament, you’ll get Bonus Coins depending on whether your League wins, loses, or draws. Select Rewards on the Tournament screen to check out what your Rewards will be.

How do League Championships work?

League Championships are bracketed Tournaments made up of members from just your League. There have to be at least four members in your League to start a Championship.

Create a Championship

On the League Championship screen, you can view past Championships or create a new one.

An Owner or Admin must select the Start a Championship button to create a new Championship.

Set it up

League Owners and Admins choose which members play in a Championship. The top three ranked members from the previous Championship must be in the League Championship, while the rest of the members are optional.Owners can also adjust the settings of the Championship like difficulty, seeding type, and round length.

Bracket play

You'll be notified if you're in a League Championship after it starts.When you go to the screen, the brackets will be seeded, and you'll play your turns against your opponent. The player with the most goals wins.

Rounds

League Championships are broken up into rounds and each round has a time limit.If everyone finishes early, the next round will start earlier but still end at the same time as it would have before.

Byes

Byes give you an instant win and may be given for an unevenly filled bracket or if someone forfeits a round.

Draws

There are no Draws if the scores are equal in League Championships. The player with the higher League Ranking wins.Even if you lose, you can still place higher than others who've lost in your round. You can do this by winning more matches, scoring more goals, and doing it as quickly as possible.
