About the Naturopath career in The Sims 4

The Naturopath career comes with The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack and has two career branches:
  • Apothe-curist
  • Lifestyle Coaching. 
To join this career, select Find a Job from the phone or computer and choose Naturopath.A Sim wearing a white dress ad cardigan offers another Sim a wooden box which contains a cure for their ailment.

Naturopath career tasks

Want that next promotion? Complete your Sim’s career tasks to level up in the Naturopath career. These tasks change depending on your Sim’s career rank. To check your Sim’s daily tasks, open the Career panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode. When it's time for your Sim to go to work, a pop-up will appear with multiple options:
  • Go to Work
  • Work from Home
  • See Clients at Home Lot
  • Take PTO
This career uses the Natural Living and Apothecary skills. This career also includes an active work from home option, where other Sims visit your home Lot to receive care. 

Research Nature on the Computer 

Using the computer, select Web > Research > Research Natural Living.  

Research in the Wilds 

Select the ground outside and choose Research in the Wild.

How to Forage for Apothecary Ingredients 

Select the ground outside and select Forage for Apothecary Ingredients. This only works on dirt, grass, or sand. This interaction unlocks at level 2 of the Apothecary skill.

How to Curate Lifestyle Plans 

Using the computer, select More Choices > Career > Curate Lifestyle Plans. 

How to Meditate in Nature 

Select the ground outside and choose Meditate in Nature. This interaction unlocks at Level 7 of the Natural Living skill.

How to Study Apothecary Cures

Select the Leafy Ledge Apothecary Table and choose Study Apothecary Cures.

How to Heal Clients

If you choose to Heal Clients from home, a progress tracker will appear in the top left of the screen. This prompts your Sim to complete tasks throughout the work day and includes a timer tracking how long you have to complete them. Sims will visit your Lot looking for cures to their ailments or emotional problems. It’s up to your Sim to diagnose which it is. First, you’ll need to Conduct Client Intake to admit a Sim, then you can use the Perform Holistic Assessment and Discuss Root Cause interactions to figure out the Sim’s issue.
  • If the Sim has an ailment, create a cure or remedy for them.
  • If the Sim has an emotional or physical problem, provide emotional healing by talking and giving advice to the afflicted Sim. 
Be as thorough as possible to diagnose them with the correct ailment, or risk sending the patient home unhappy and uncured!

  • Career Rewards and New Interactions: §225, Discuss Healing Frequencies and Sympathetic Hug interactions. 
    • Unlocks See Clients at Home Lot ability
3. Natural Living Novice
  • Promotion Requirements: Reach Natural Living Skill level 3, reach Apothecary Skill level 3
  • Daily Tasks: Study Holistic Care
  • Career Rewards and New Interactions: §300
4. Holistic Care Trainee
  • Promotion Requirements: Reach Natural Living Skill level 4, reach Apothecary Skill level 4
  • Daily Tasks: Study Holistic Care
  • Career Rewards and New Interactions: §475, Educate about Balance interaction
5. Client Care Generalist 
  • Promotion Requirements: Reach Natural Living Skill level 5, reach Apothecary Skill level 5
  • Daily Tasks: Study Holistic Care
  • Career Rewards and New Interactions: §550, Gift Apothecary Ingredient interaction, The Balance Reset Kit Item
When your Sim is promoted to rank 5, you’ll choose between the Apothe-curist or Lifestyle Coaching career path.

Use this cheat to promote your Sim one rank at a time—all the way to Apothe-curist or Lifestyle Coach.
