The Park Worker career in The Sims 4 lets your Sims embrace the great outdoors. Starting as a Cabin Cleaner, progress through multiple levels before choosing to specialize as a Park Counselor or Park Ranger. This career is unique because shifts last multiple in-game days, offering higher pay per shift and rewarding nature-focused skills. Whether your Sim prefers guiding campers or protecting nature, the Park Worker path offers a rich career journey full of outdoor activities, new interactions, and career rewards.

About the Park Worker career in The Sims 4

The Park Worker career comes with The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack and has two career branches:
  • Park Counselor
  • Park Ranger
To join this career, select Find a Job from the phone or computer and choose Park Worker.This career works similarly to other rabbit hole careers, except in this case, Sims will leave for work and can be gone for multiple days at a time. During this time, your Sim’s needs will be taken care of (although Chance Cards can change this!). If you have a Toddler, Infant, or Newborn Sim, you’ll have the option to hire a Nanny or send them to Daycare.  Teen Sims can join this career on a part-time basis up to level 5. Once they reach level 5, they can’t get promoted again until they age up to a Young Adult.

Park Worker career tasks

To get a promotion in this career, your Sim needs to complete career tasks. These tasks change depending on your Sim’s rank in the career. To check what tasks your Sim needs to complete, open the Career Panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode.

Outdoor Activities that count toward this daily task include (but aren’t limited to):

Complete this by reading books about nature or socializing with other Sims.

There are five lore unlocks to uncover as you work your way through the career. Complete them on the Computer, at the Ranger Station in Gibbi Point, or as an away action while a Sim is at the Career.

Here’s a breakdown of all ranks of the Park Worker career.Shifts for this career span multiple days, which is reflected in the pay. Instead of being paid per day like other careers, your Sim will be paid per shift.

Park Worker career promotion cheats

Using this cheat promotes your Sim by one rank in the Park Worker career. You can use it multiple times to reach the top of the career path.
