Cross-play lets you race against other players across different console types in online modes like Quick Play Multiplayer and Clubs. For example, if you play WRC on a PlayStation®5, turning on cross-play lets you race against Xbox Series X|S and PC players.

You’ll be prompted to turn cross-play on or off when you launch WRC for the first time. You can adjust your cross-play setting at any time:

1. In the main game menu, choose Options & Extras.
2. Select Game Preferences.
3. Scroll down to the Cross Platform Play option.
4. Toggle cross-play On or Off.

When WRC cross-play is turned off, you’ll only be able to compete with players using the same platform as you.

Cross-play for WRC is available on all platforms:

• PC: EA app, Steam
• PlayStation®5
• Xbox Series X|S

Cross-play is available in WRC for Quick Play Multiplayer mode and Clubs mode.

Quick Play Multiplayer cross-play

With Quick Play Multiplayer cross-play, you can connect to our online multiplayer lobby and compete in real-time with up to 32 other players.

Clubs cross-play

With Clubs cross-play, you can access cross-platform multiplayer events powered by EA Racenet.

• You can start Clubs events whenever you want.
• There’s no limit on how many players can compete.
• Cross-play makes cross-network Clubs visible, letting all players appear on Moments and Time Trial leaderboards.
