Once you submit a Player to a standard Evolution slot in Ultimate Team™, you can complete gameplay challenges to get permanent upgrades for your Player.
Once a Player is submitted to a standard Evolution slot, they become untradeable.
Training Camp Evolutions let you passively upgrade your Players. They work slightly differently from Standard Evolutions.
When you submit a Player to a Training Camp Evolution, your Player will be unavailable for a set amount of time. You can still view them in your Club.
After the set amount of time has passed, you can claim your upgrades and use your Player again.

You can’t withdraw Players from standard Evolutions. You can only submit one Player per Evolution, and you can’t withdraw your Player or forfeit the Evolution.
You can cancel Training Camp Evolutions, but you won’t get any unearned upgrades. If you cancel, you can’t restart the same Training Camp Evolution slot with a different Player.
You can’t submit Evolution Players in Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) while they’re still in progress. However, once a Player Item is fully upgraded and the Evolution is complete, you can use them in SBCs.
Learn how to submit Players into SBCs and how to get them back if you submitted them by accident.
Standard Evolutions have two separate time restrictions: one for slot activation and another for completing upgrades. Not all Slots will have both time restrictions, but they might have one or both.
If the Evolution timer for completing upgrades runs out, you’ll earn all the upgrades for the levels that you’ve completed. You won’t be able to claim the upgrades for any uncompleted, or partially completed, levels.
Training Camp Evolutions can be as short as a few hours to longer than 30 days.
The level of rewards you get generally align with the amount of time needed to complete the Training Camp Evolution, so longer Evolutions might require more substantial time to earn.
