Missing Apex Coins or Exotic Shards
If you’re having trouble with Apex Coins or Exotic Shards, try launching Apex Legends on the EA app if:- you were playing on Steam
- you redeemed a promo code and your content didn’t show up.
- Apex Coins are kept in a Wallet.
- Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™ 2 use a different Wallet to other platforms.
- If you buy Apex Coins on Nintendo Switch™, you can only view and use them there.
- Your balance from other platforms won’t be visible on Nintendo platforms.
There are only two Wallets: the Nintendo Switch™ Wallet and a Wallet for all other platforms. Apex Coins you buy on Nintendo Switch™ are only available on the Nintendo Switch™ family. You won’t see this balance on other platforms, and your Wallet for other platforms won’t appear on Nintendo Switch™.All other platforms (PC, Xbox, or PlayStation®) share the same Wallet. You won’t be able to see it on the Nintendo Switch™, and it won’t include any Apex Coins you’ve bought on the Nintendo Switch™.
If you get a refund in real-world money, we’ll take an equivalent amount of Apex Coins from your Wallet, meaning your balance can go down. This amount of Apex Coins taken is equal to the amount of real-world money you were refunded. If you don’t have enough Apex Coins to cover your refund, your balance will become negative. If you buy new Apex Coins after, they’ll first go towards clearing your negative balance.
