Learn how to add to and manage your friends list in Battlefield 2042.

How to add friends in-game

Add your friends via the in-game Social menu in Battlefield 2042. Here’s how:

    Open the Main Menu.
  2. 2
    Select the Social tab at the bottom-right corner of your screen.
  3. 3
    Select the Invitations tab from the Social menu.
  4. 4
    Search for friends in the search bar and then select Add Friend.

In the Invitations tab, you can manage:
  • EA Party invites
  • EA Friend Requests
  • any EA Friend Requests you’ve sent. 

In the Party/Friends tab, you can see:
  • friends who play on the same platform as you
  • friends that you’ve added through EA Services
  • people you’ve played with recently
  • people you’ve blocked.

You can also add friends in Battlefield 2042 using their EA ID.

    Select the Social tab at the bottom-right corner of your screen.

    Select the Invitations tab from the Social menu.

    Go to the Search for EA ID finder on the left.
  5. 5
    Enter their EA ID.

To add someone you’ve recently played with to your friends list you can send them a friend request.

    Go to the Main Menu.

    Select the Party/Friends tab.
  3. 3
    Go to Recent Players.
  4. 4
    Select the name of the player you want to add from the list.

    Choose View Profile.
  6. 6
    Select Send friend request.
