What’s included in Battlefield REDSEC (F2P)

REDSEC lets you download and play in the Battlefield universe at no cost*. Players can jump into:
  • A Massive Southern California Blacksite: A fight for secrets is raging in Fort Lyndon. This massive, redacted military facility hidden in plain sight between pristine beaches and a sleepy residential community is home to some of the most advanced military projects in the world. Rogue operators are racing against time and hostiles to keep each other out and the secrets in.
  • Battle Royale: Drop into a Battle Royale only Battlefield can deliver, featuring massive-scale destruction, fast-paced squad play, and the deadliest ring in BR.
  • Tactical Destruction: The power of Tactical Destruction brings an explosive new layer of depth to Battle Royale. Blast open pathways and demolish enemy positions for a strategic advantage. 
  • Gauntlet: An all-new cutthroat, knockout-style elimination mode where squads race to complete missions.
  • Portal: REDSEC gives unprecedented access to Portal’s massive sandbox in Fort Lyndon. Every player has the ability to create unique and unforgettable experiences, for free.
  • Weekly Events and Rewards: Ongoing updates with new challenges, cosmetics, and limited-time content.

You can download REDSEC (F2P) through your platform’s digital store: EA app, Steam, Xbox Store, or PlayStation® Store. 
PlayStation® Plus Requirementsin GermanyDue to regional age restrictions (USK 18) and German content regulations, a PlayStation® Plus (PS+) subscription is required to download the Battlefield REDSEC components, including Battleground and Gauntlet, on PlayStation® systems in Germany.
