How to report players in GRID Legends

If someone isn’t playing by the rules, you can block, kick, or report them. Here’s how.

How to report a player

If a player has an offensive name, you can report them from any of these places in GRID Legends:

the Player Lobby
your Friends list
the Online Sessions tab
the list of Online Players
the pre-race auction screen
the Pause menu during a race
the results screen at the end of a race.

To report someone:

Open the list of player names from any of the places above.

Select the player’s name from the list and choose Report name.

Confirm the pop-up to send the report through to us.

How to kick a player from Multiplayer

Press Pause.

Select Player List.

Find their name in the list and select it.

Choose Kick and confirm that on the pop-up.

If someone keeps causing problems, you might want to block them.

How to block a player

Blocking someone means you won’t be matched up with them in Multiplayer anymore.

Open the Options menu.

Select Social.

Select Options.

Select Online Players.

Find them in the list and select their name.

Select Block and confirm that on the pop-up.

Remove or block players from your EA Friends list in the Social menu.

When you block someone, they’re removed from your Friends list. If you don't want to block a friend, you can remove them from your Friends list instead. They won't be able to hop in on your races.

Select Friends.

Find them in your Friends list and select their name.

Select Remove Friend.

You can also limit who can hop in on your races by setting your Host Privacy to Offline or Private.

Switch Host Privacy settings in the Gameplay menu under the Online tab.
