About the Politician career in The Sims 4

The Politician career comes with The Sims 4 City Living Expansion Pack and has two career branches:
  • Politician 
  • Charity Organiser. 
To join this career, select Find a Job from the phone or computer and choose Politician.A Sim with dark hair, in a navy business suit stands at a podium in an office as she prepares to give a speech.

Politician career tasks

To get a promotion in the Politician career, your Sim needs to complete career tasks. These tasks change depending on your Sim’s rank in the Politician career. To check what tasks your Sim needs to complete, open the Career Panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode. 

How to Successfully Promote a Cause

    To Support a Cause, select your Sim > Political Career > Pick Cause. There are 5 to choose from:

      No Sim Left Behind
    3. 3
      Simoleons for Everyone
    4. 4
      Speak for the Trees
    5. 5
      World United

    Select any Sim and select More Choices > Friendly > Political Career > Promote Cause.

How to Secure Votes 

Click on any Sim and select More Choices > Friendly >Political Career > Secure Vote.

How to Collect Donations

Click on any Sim and select More Choices > Friendly > Political Career > Collect Donation.

Politician career promotion cheats

Using this cheat promotes your Sim by one rank in the Politician career. You can use it multiple times to reach the top of the career path.

    Type testingcheats true and press Enter to turn on cheats.

    Type careers.promote activist into the cheat dialogue box and press Enter.
