In Career Mode, you can earn Evolution Points by taking part in fights and sparring sessions. Your performance in these determines how many Points you earn. You can use these Points to upgrade your attributes, moves, and perks.
Before each fight, you can set up a Training Camp of varying length. When you’re starting out, it’s best to do the longest training camp possible. This helps build up hype, which increases payouts and fan base while giving you more time to do sparring sessions.
In sparring sessions, your objectives (the number of Points you can earn) increase with each consecutive session of the same type (boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, or Brazilian jiu-jitsu).
That means you can only increase your objectives by taking part in the same type of session week after week without switching to a different one in between.
Using and repeating a particular attack or move will level up that specific maneuver.
You can learn new moves in sparring sessions or you can go to ea.com for tutorials on everything from basic to advanced Fighter moves.
You can also Invite A Fighter to learn one of their moves and earn Evolution Points for using that move in a sparring session.
Another way to upgrade moves is by scoring knockouts and knockdowns with your Invited Fighter, but make sure you don’t overdo it. You won’t get any Evolution Points if you knock them out before using the new move. You might also damage your relationship with that Fighter if you knock them out with the new move when they’re too damaged.
In Career Mode, you can check your G.O.A.T. Status at any time from the Main Hub. This is where you'll find a checklist of how to get there.
In Online Career Mode, earning Evolution Points works similarly to offline Career Mode, but in a head-to-head online competitive mode.
You can earn Evolution Points from Online Career matches, but not from sparring sessions.
In Online Career Mode, you can choose to prestige once you reach the level cap for your Fighter.
This means that when you put 1,000 Evolution Points into a Fighter, you can reset your Evolution Points to the starting point, but increase the level cap and unlock access to additional moves and perks, unlocking pathways to become an even better Fighter.
Evolution Boosts allow you to earn more Evolution Points for a limited time.
If you start competing in CAF League halfway through the season, a limited-time Boost could help you evolve your Fighter to a level closer to players who have been competing since the very start.
You can earn Evolution Boosts as in-game rewards.
