Like mostly everything, we have rules. These rules make sure that you, and players like you, have fun and stay safe while playing our games.

We exist to inspire the world to play.

When the world plays together, we have a community of global perspectives all united on one thing: playing fun games. This means that everyone can express themselves in a community that is safe and fair.

To keep our games and communities safe, fair, and fun, we have to put a few rules in place. That includes:

  • Stopping any toxic behavior.
  • Keeping things fair.
  • Create clean content.
  • Following the law.

For a list of the rules you agree to when you sign up for an EA account and use an EA Service, read Section 6 of our User Agreement. For EA forum accounts, like Answers HQ, check out our User Rules and Guidelines.

Our games are a place for you to express yourself and your individuality. But it’s not just your space, it’s everyone’s. We count on you to keep toxicity out of it. Harassing, bullying, threatening, offending, or any harmful behavior towards others is not acceptable—ever.

If you see any toxic behavior, always report it.

Games are at their best when everyone can play on a level playing field. Cheating, phishing, hacking, or anything else that gives you a competitive advantage ruins the experience for everyone and impacts the game balance. Just don’t do it.

We love when you create content about our games or join in message board conversations. But uploading illicit content, adding corrupt files, sending spam, or anything else that could damage our games or systems not only ruins these for you, but also for everyone else. When you contribute to our platforms, only add helpful, quality content.

These days you can plug in and play almost everywhere, and that’s really exciting. To ensure everyone feels safe, it’s important that you follow the local laws when playing our games. This not only includes keeping things legal, but reporting anything you see that breaks the law or promotes doing so.
