How to change the email on a second account

If you accidentally created a second EA Account, but all your games are on your original EA Account, you can change the email address on your accounts to access your games.

    Create a new email address to use as a temporary placeholder.
    • Have a second email address already? You can use that one instead of creating a new one.

    Log in to the second EA Account. 
  3. 3
    Go to the Account Information page and then Email address.
  4. 4
    Select Edit to update the email address to the temporary email address you created earlier.
    • If you get an error saying that your email is invalid when you try to change it, it might already be used on another account. Try logging in to that account instead, or use a different email.

    Now log in to your original EA Account and change the email address to your preferred one.
Once you’ve updated your email address, we’ll send you an email asking you to verify it. Click the link in the email to verify that you made the change.If you have a STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ account that’s linked to the same email as your EA Account, you’ll need to accept the email address change. Learn more about how your SW:TOR account links to your EA Account.

How to merge EA Accounts

All of the data (including saves and achievements) you have on your account is stored in our cloud. The cloud is linked to your EA Account. The cloud gives you access to your games and saves from other computers or consoles, as long as you’re signed in to your account. If you move a game from one account to another, you’ll be able to play the game, but the data still stays linked to the original EA Account. Merging accounts isn’t always possible. Even when it is, you can’t move your games or platform accounts to another account yourself. If you decide to merge your accounts, get in touch with us.
