About the Undertaker career in The Sims 4

The Undertaker career comes with The Sims 4 Life & Death Expansion Pack and has two career branches:
  • Mortician
  • Funeral Director. 
To join this career, select Find a Job from the phone or computer and choose Undertaker.A Sim kneels in front of a grave polishing the gravestone. Inside the wooden frame of the grave is some grass and candles.

Undertaker career tasks

To get a promotion in the Undertaker career, your Sim needs to complete career tasks. These tasks change depending on your Sim’s rank in the career. To check what tasks your Sim needs to complete, open the Career Panel (the briefcase icon in the bottom right of the screen) in Live Mode. 

How to Earn Certification

Using the computer, select Earn Certification.

How to Read Thanatology Theories

Using the computer, select More Choices > Read Theories on… then select one of the theories for your Sim to read.

Undertaker career promotion cheats

Using this cheat promotes your Sim by one rank in the Undertaker career. You can use it multiple times to reach the top of the career path.

    Select Control + Shift + C to open the cheat dialogue box.

    Type testingcheats true and select Enter to turn on cheats. 
  3. 3
    Type careers.promote mortician into the cheat dialogue box and select Enter.
