We sync your most recent saves to the Archives as soon as you log in. You’ll find them under World States in the main menu.

Load the one you want to use in the Tapestry.

How do I sync my Andromeda playthrough with the Archives?

  1. Make sure your PC or console is online, then start the game and load the last save of the playthrough you want to use in the Archives.
  2. Now, open the Mass Effect Archives and head to World States.
  3. From the pulldown, choose Playthrough states.
  4. Choose the playthrough you just saved and click Copy to editable.
  5. Add some info so you can easily see this is the one you want to use.
  6. Hit Save and wait for confirmation that the World State has saved.
  7. Switch back to Editable states, click on your new file and hit Load in the Archives.
  8. Once it’s loaded, click Edit in Tapestry to open the Tapestry and get started.

Check you’ve imported your playthroughs into your World States and set the one you want to use in the Tapestry as your Current World State.

Use the Tapestry tutorial to learn how to build out your unique journey in the Mass Effect universe.

If you want to dive right in, choose either Mass Effect: Andromeda, or the Mass Effect trilogy on the Tapestry page, then recreate your choices and your path in-game.

For the original trilogy, use the pull-down menu at the top of the screen to choose your game, then navigate through your choices in each area, making sure you approve each of your choices to save them:

For Andromeda, you can jump right in and follow your Ryder’s path through the game.

If you’re like us, you’ll have spent a lot of time in the character creators for Mass Effect and Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Share your Ryders with your friends and other players by uploading your custom heroes to the Archive.

You can also browse the Ryder Gallery to find heroes created by other players and import them for your next playthrough of Mass Effect: Andromeda.

You can also create custom Shepards in the Shepard Gallery:

  1. Use the pulldown filters to match the gender and origins of your Shepard.
  2. Then click on the remaining profile.
  3. Click on the icon at the top-right of the pop-up to duplicate your hero (click Yes, Continue! to confirm).
  4. Now, click the Shepard character tile with an icon and cog on it.
  5. Click on the pencil icons to edit Shepard’s name, Character biography, or avatar.

If you own the soundtrack for Mass Effect: Andromeda, you can download it from the Andromeda downloads section.

Main game and DLC soundtrack downloads for the Mass Effect Trilogy can be found under Trilogy downloads.

If you’ve logged into the Mass Effect Archives but you’re not seeing what you’d expect, use the Account Check to make sure you’re logged in on the PC or console account that you played the Mass Effect games on.

Head to the Career section for an overview of your accomplishments across all Mass Effect games (and their DLC).

There’s even a section where you can check what you’ve done on the Mass Effect Archives.

Because the best stories never end with the game, visit the Dark Horse Comics section of the Archives to browse through the Mass Effect digital comics range.

Log in to (or create) your Dark Horse Comics account to read the comics you own or to buy new ones.
