You can’t link a child EA Account to platforms. Learn more about child accounts and online access.
You can follow these steps to link your EA Account to Prime Gaming, Steam, or Twitch.
You can check if you’ve linked your accounts before by checking your Connections page on myaccount.ea.com. Any Xbox gamertags and PlayStation™Network Online IDs that are linked to your EA Account will show under Connections. Connected Nintendo Accounts won’t show here.
You should only have to link your accounts, but you may have to log in again if:
An EA Account can only have one of each platform account linked at a time. This means that you can’t link an EA Account to two PlayStation™Network IDs, for example. Instead, you’ll need to create a new EA Account to link to your additional platform accounts.
If you try to link additional accounts, you’ll get a message that says Linked accounts found.
If you already have multiple platform accounts linked to an EA Account, they’ll stay linked, but you won’t be able to add more. We suggest choosing your preferred accounts when you link them together.
Sub-accounts that share Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation®Plus won’t be able to connect to EA Accounts to play online.
If you made your EA Account using the same email address you use for your platform-specific account, load any EA game on your Xbox, PlayStation®, or Switch, and your accounts should automatically connect.
You can unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account if you want to link them to a different EA Account, as long as your EA Account has never had the same account type linked to it before.
All your EA game progress is linked to your EA Account, not your platform account. That means if you do end up deciding to unlink your persona from one account to link it to another, you’ll lose your game progress.
If it’s been a while since you played an EA game, try logging into your EA Account from your computer or mobile device.
If you’re logging in on a mobile device, open help.ea.com and tap the menu button (it looks like three lines) at the top right to find how to Log In:
You might need to:
Once you get signed in, restart your platform, start your game, and you should be good to go.
You should already have an EA Account if you’ve bought games from our store or played an EA game online with your platform.
If you don’t have one, you can create an account.
Once you’re logged in, check your About Me section on myaccount.ea.com to see your Connected Accounts. Any Xbox gamertags and PlayStation™Network Online IDs that are connected to your EA Account will show here, but connected Nintendo Accounts won’t.
Don't worry! We have a few options for you.
Try resetting your EA Account password, and make sure that the platform you’re trying to use is connected to your EA Account. To do this:
