Aim assist helps you aim more accurately while playing Apex Legends with a controller.PC players using a mouse and keyboard can have an advantage over console players, so aim assist helps better balance the game. Aim assist is automatically turned on for all console players and PC players using controllers.PC players using a mouse and keyboard don’t have aim assist.Is aim assist turned on in the Firing Range?

We don’t recommend turning off aim assist, as players using a mouse and keyboard have an advantage over players using controllers.If you want to try playing without aim assist, turn it off and practice in the Firing Range.
- 1Go to the Settings menu.
- 2Go to the Controller tab.
- 3Scroll down and select Advanced Look Controls…
- 4Find Target Compensation and toggle it to On or Off.
- 5Turn Melee Target Compensation On or Off, depending on whether you want to use aim assist for melee attacks.
