How to link and save a STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account
To save your progress, link your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account to an EA, Google Play (Android), or Game Center (iOS) account.When you link to an account, you can:- play on multiple devices
- transfer your progress to another device
- recover your game progress if it’s ever lost
- transfer your progress to PC (but only if you link to an EA Account).

- 1Launch STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes and select the gear icon in the top left of the Cantina screen to open the Settings menu.
- 2Choose Connect, then select EA connect.
- If you don’t have one, create an EA Account.
- 3Follow the on-screen instructions to link STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes to your EA Account.
How to play STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes on another account
Follow these steps to play STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes:- on a different Google Play or Game Center account
- as a Guest account.
Android
iOS
- 1Launch STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes.
- 2Select the gear icon in the top left of the Cantina screen to open the Settings menu.
- 3Select Connect, then choose Sign out of Google Play.
- 4Select Confirm.
- 5When the game restarts, choose between:
- Play as Guest (to play using a Guest account)
- Sign into Google Play (to log in using a different Google Play account).
How to recover a linked STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account
Updating apps or the operating system on your device can sometimes sign you out of your Game Center or Google Play account. This can make it seem like your account is missing. If your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account is linked to your Google Play or Game Center account, you can recover your game account, progress, and units by signing back in.Android
iOS
- 1Launch the game and select the gear icon in the top left of the Cantina screen to open the Settings menu.
- 2Select Sign into Google Play.
- 3Choose Confirm. Your game will restart.
- 4Select Sign in to Google Play. When you log in, your linked game will load.
How to recover a Guest account
If your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account isn’t linked to Game Center, Google Play, or an EA Account on your device, you’re playing on a Guest account.
If you have supporting information, we might be able to help you recover your Guest account. Make sure you have at least one of the following before contacting us.
- Player ID
- The easiest way for us to help you recover your Guest account is to give us the Player ID of that account. Learn more about Player ID.
- Ally Code
- If you don’t know the Player ID of the Guest account, we might be able to recover it if you have your Ally Code.
- Proof of purchase
- If you don’t know the Player ID or Ally Code of the Guest account you want to cover, we might be able to help if you have proof of purchase.
Once you have the Player ID, Ally Code, or proof of purchase of the Guest account you want to recover, here’s how to contact us.Heads up: To check if your Guest account can be recovered and contact us in-game, you’ll have to create a new STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account. Your new account will have a Player ID, but we need the Player ID of the Guest account you want to recover.
- 1Launch STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes and follow the prompts to create a new account.
- 2Select the gear icon in the top left of the Cantina screen to open the Settings menu.
- 3Choose Help and select EA Help.
Sometimes we won’t be able to help you recover your Guest account, and your in-game progress will be lost.We can’t recover Guest accounts if:
- you lost access to your Guest account when you deleted the STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes app from your device, and then reinstalled it
- you lost access to the device where you played STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes using a Guest account (e.g., your device is broken or lost).
How to move a STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account
You need an EA Account to transfer your saves and progress to a device with a different operating system.Move to a device with the same operating system
Follow these steps to move your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account to another device with the same operating system (like an iPhone to a new iPhone).- 1Link your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account to Game Center on iOS or Google Play Store on Android.
- 2Sign in with the linked account on your new device.
Move to a device with a different operating system
If you want to move your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account to a device with a different operating system (like iOS to Android), you’ll need access to both devices and an active EA Account. On your old deviceFirst, link your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account to your EA Account on your old device.- 1Launch the game and select the gear icon in the top left of the Cantina screen to open the Settings menu.
- 2Choose Connect, then select EA connect.
- If you don’t have one, create an EA Account.
- 3Follow the on-screen instructions to link STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes to your EA Account.
- 1If you haven’t already, download and install STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes on your new device.
- 2Launch STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes and select Have an Account? from the top left of the screen.
- 3Choose Connect, then select Import Account.
- 4Sign in using the EA Account details you used on your old device. We’ll send a verification code to the email address linked to your EA Account.
- 5Copy the verification code from the email and enter it in-game, then select Submit.
- 6On the Sign in with this account? screen, select Confirm.
Getting an error 9.78 after step 5?If you get an error 9.78 after entering the verification code we sent to your email, try this workaround.
- 1When the error appears, go back to the Cantina screen and continue the tutorial.
- 2Open the Settings menu and choose Connect.
- 3Select Import Account.
- 4Sign in using the EA Account details you used on your old device. We’ll send another verification code to the email address of your EA Account.
- 5Enter the new verification code in-game and select Submit.
- 6On the Sign in with this account? screen, select Confirm.
