2 min read

Overview

Toddler Sims in The Sims 4 can learn five skills: Communication, Imagination, Movement, Potty, and Thinking. These skills unlock new interactions, boost their independence, and prepare them for success in childhood and beyond. This guide covers how to level up each skill and how to use cheats for faster progress.

What are Toddler skills?

Toddler Sims have different skills from other Sims. They have five skills, which are:
  • Communication
  • Imagination
  • Movement
  • Potty
  • Thinking
Successfully completing Toddler skills results in a head start on Child skills once they age up.

Toddler Traits

Toddlers can earn Reward Traits, which can help them with skill building. If they meet the objectives, they’ll unlock these Traits when they age up to a Child.
  • The Happy Toddler Trait is unlocked by having a Toddler reach level 3 or higher in at least 4 toddler skills.
