How Fight Week works in EA SPORTS™ UFC® 5

Here’s how you can earn rewards, and take part in weekly Challenges, Picks, and Contracts that sync up with real-world pay-per-view (PPV) UFC events.

Fight Week Challenges

In the week leading up to, and after, the biggest real-world UFC events, you’ll have access to limited-time challenges in EA SPORTS™ UFC® 5.These Challenges give you the opportunity to unlock rewards based on those events including new Alter Egos, Fighter Vanity Items, player profile customization assets, and Fighter Emotes you can use in Create a Fighter.To take part, follow the below steps during UFC Fight Weeks:

    From the Main Menu, go to Fight Week.
  2. 2
    Select the Challenges tab.
  3. 3
    Complete Challenges to earn rewards.

Fight Week Pick’Em

In Pick’Em, you can make predictions about how real-world cards turn out, who wins, and in what way. You can make your picks before every real-world UFC PPV event.

    From the Main menu, go to Fight Week.
  2. 2
    Select the Picks tab.
After you make your picks, you’ll be automatically placed into Fight Picks leaderboard pools. There, you’ll see custom friend leaderboards as well. After the event, you’ll gain UFC Coins based on the accuracy of your picks, plus high placements on the leaderboard.

Fight Week Contracts

Fight Week Contracts give you a daily fight offer where you can take on AI opponents under preset gameplay settings. You earn Coins for every fight you attempt, and even more for each fight you win. The difficulty of the contracts increases over the course of the week. Your cumulative wins, losses, and finishes are tracked in the Contracts tab in the Fight Week menu.
