PC Performance (FPS drops, Stuttering)
The game urgently needs a patch that improves performance, the game is not perfect, periodically serious lags, between transitions to the second chapter, fps just drops to 10 fps. The sound is very quiet, when loading saves, the game sometimes just freezes tightly, you have to forcibly turn it off through the task manager.
Stuck on Chapter 8 - elevator will not open
I've been playing the Dead Space remake on PS5, and have reached a point in Chapter 8 where I seemingly cannot progress. There is an elevator that says "authorized personnel only" that simply will not open to allow me to take it. Every walkthrough I've read says the elevator should open (with a monster inside), with no special tricks needed to make it open. I have no save points further back to allow me to get back to that point and don't want to start over hoping it doesn't happen again when I reach this point. Is there something I'm missing?
Will Dead Space Remake come to Geforce now?
I am a MacBook M1 Pro user, and unfortunately, Dead Space Remake (DSR) is unavailable on my platform. As I play most of my games through cloud services (e.g., GeForce Now) I'm wondering if DSR will make its way there. Update: Tried the game via Parallels and Crossover using Steam, and the game did not open, so I got a refund. Common EA, please make the game accessible to MacBook users via a cloud service (e.g., Geforce Now, Boosteroid)
Will there be a Dead Space 2 Remake
Does anyone think they will be a Dead Space 2 Remake? i have been a long time fan of the Dead Space Franchise and i tried the spiritual successor to Dead Space, aka The Callisto Protocol and in my opinion it fell way WAY short of the mark. I know me and a friend of mine is hoping for a Dead Space 2 Remake cause the games i feel were left on a cliff hanger at the end of Dead Space 3 as they still had more source material they could have covered to make a Fourth game but....
dead space 3 not working
i cant get passed choosing my save... it crashes every time.. ive port forwarded cleaned registry done every single step that doesn't make sense to do.. the ea app keeps crashing it im pretty sure.. if i go offline i can play single player and thats not what i want to do... some one else is having the same issue as me and they still havent solved it.. please god fix this game for the love of christDead Space Series on Nintendo Switch
Just throwing this out here in case someone here sees this and somehow makes my wish come true but I've been saying this to friends for a while and its that the Dead Space series would be amazing to have on the Nintendo Switch, i would love to play the games on the switch while I'm traveling or just relaxing in bed. I need some help with DS3, it was all working fine last week and this week it decided it does not want to launch the game anymore. The game starts up with a black screen for a few seconds then shuts off. Tried launching from both EA and Steam but no luck. Nothing has changed since last week. I have always disabled msi afterburner I’ve tried: disabling clearing cache in the EA app Disabling in game overlay in the EA app Disabling steam overlay Checked for everything that may have an overlay and disabled it Updated to the newest driver Even tried a driver from last month Allowing public/private access from windows security firewall Run steam, EA and DS3 as administrator Run the game in compatibly mode for windows 7/8/10 (I’m on windows 11) Turned off force randomisation for images (Mandatory ASLR) and Random memory allocations (Bottom-up ASLR) as I’ve seen from a forum of it working for someone else tried different resolutions Deleted the game and reinstalled Deleted EA app and reinstalled tried to verify game files in steam as well if anyone has any ideas, please please let me know. Really want to keep playing!
Dead Space 3 not launching on EA app
Hi, I just installed Dead Space 3 on EA app (using XBox Pass) but it won't launch. I've played Dead Space 1 & 2 just fine. When I clicked play button for Dead Space 3, it shows a popup "launching game" but it won't launch the game. Instead, it returns back the EA app. Please help.
Hydroponic mission and enzyme bug
Hi, I'm on Impossible mode and it seems I've hit a glitch/bug when I did the 'Reach hydroponics' quest in Chapter 6. When I reached the area, the mission did not say it was complete, only when I reached the enzyme synthesis room did I realize there's an error. So I double back to the tram and it says mission quest complete. But the continuation of the next main mission did not load on the tracker. When I tried to create the enzyme, it said its complete but I could not take it. Therefore I'm now stuck and can't progress at all.
Anodized suit?
I have 2 questions pertaining to the anodized suit. Is the anodized suit still available on ea pro? If I purchase an ea pro subscription with my ea account that I use on other devices, will I be able to access the anodized suit on said devices? Just purchased a Steam Deck because my gaming laptop fried and wanted to play Dead Space 2. I purchased the game back in 2021 off of Steam and believe me it’s one of my favorite titles to play, more so when it kept me entertained through my deployment. after installing it on my deck and running it, it said that the authorization key given exceeded its use. Talked about Customer Support and said they can’t do anything because they need the see the files installed on the laptop that cannot be looked at because it’s dead and because it’s a “Sunset Game” they cannot reset the limitations. talked to Steam and they said “it’s EA’s property we can’t do anything about it.” Spoke back with EA and they gave me a link to a de-authorization tool that the steam deck cannot run because of its Linux OS. I’m currently installing it on a separate laptop just to use the de-authorization tool to see if that will reset it so I can play the game I legally purchased. If this doesn't work that I'm going back to the Steam discussion page on what can be done. The biggest load that I am seeing right now is despite you spending money and owning something, you really don't own it. The joke of digital media is the future is that you can spend money for it to be disabled. They act as if you're only going to buy ONE computer to use your entire life.Dead space 2 continuously crashing at the main menu after pressing any button.
I have tried many hours and many things to get this running, I've provided my specs and the conversation I had with an EA help tech. I sincerely hope anyone could help; I've loved the dead space series for many years and have played all many times. I've tried many online reddit solutions, to buying dead space 2 off of steam and the EA website. I've tried changing my bios cores, I've tried clearing the cache, I've tried reinstalling it. I've tried deleting all old data just in case of any corruption, and I've also tried the troubleshoot compatibly windows provider and it still crashes at the main menu. I should also mention prior to this, I was able to play Dead space 2 off of steam for many many hours, then one day it just stopped working. I play Soley off PC as well. Thanks for reading.
please remove the bugged achievements from steam
According to various topics on Steam, the EA forum, and across the internet, there are four achievements that are impossible to obtain on Steam. Could EA, in some way (without involving the original developers), remove these achievements from Steam so that players can achieve 100% completion in the game? Survivalist Aren't You Thankful? Dead Space Remake
I've recently bought Dead Space Remake and running into unbearable frame time stutters and abrupt FPS drops within my game occurring every 5-8 seconds. I'd greatly appreciate this to be fixed otherwise I'll have to unfortunately refund. Thanks. FYI- I've ensured the game is on the latest/updated game version and that the correct game settings.
