How to build your EA SPORTS™ WRC car in Builder mode

Learn how to build and customize a rally car in WRC.

What can I customize using Builder mode

In Builder mode, you can build your own customized rally car. You’ll be able to choose from car parts of differing quality, cost, and appearance across five categories:

  • drivetrain
  • mechanical
  • body
  • exterior
  • interior

How to choose your drivetrain

  1. From the main menu, select Builder.
  2. Choose a Vehicle Class. You can choose from WRC, WRC2, or Junior WRC. Once you’ve finished building your car, it’ll be saved to the Vehicle Select list of whichever class you choose.
  3. Select the drivetrain for your car.

How to choose your mechanical parts

  1. In the Mechanical Hub, go through each mechanical category to build your car.
    • Engine
    • Differentials
    • Gearbox
    • Clutch
    • Radiator
    • Suspension
    • Brakes
    • Exhaust
  2. Choose a car part from the options in each category.
  3. Once you’ve chosen all the mechanical parts for your car, select Confirm Parts.

How to choose your car’s bodywork

  1. In the Body section, choose your Front Bodywork from the options given.
  2. Select your Rear Bodywork.

How to customize your car exterior and interior

  1. Go to the Exterior Hub to customize parts of your car’s appearance, like the bumper, lights and exhaust. In the Interior Hub, you’ll be able to customize elements of the inside of your car, such as the steering wheel, seats, and gear shifter.
  2. In the Exterior Hub and the Interior Hub, choose a car part from the options in each category.
  3. Once you’ve chosen the parts for your car, select Confirm Parts.

How to save your build

Once you've built your car using the steps above, you’ll see a Build Breakdown. The breakdown shows all the car part choices you made and the cost of the build. To save your build, follow these steps:

  1. Select Confirm Build.
  2. Below Vehicle Name, select Empty Slot.
  3. Choose a name for both the Vehicle Brand and Vehicle Model.
  4. Select Confirm.
